OPERATIONS MANUAL
Once your new company has been established and contracts signed, the proper dissemination of information can begin. The first step in the process is receiving the Somundy Operations Manual. Our manual incorporates all the necessary information you will require for the proper operation of your new steel framing factory. The actually training is conducted by our associates at Amsteel International who have over 25 years’ experience in steel framing. Our manual is constantly being updated with the latest innovations and concepts of the steel framing industry. Aside from the fundamental information it contains, it also includes all the necessary forms for the internal operation of your factory as well as the detailed technical specifications of the materials used. The Somundy Operations Manual is considered strictly confidential and it cannot be disclosed, copied or altered at any time without the written consent of a Somundy Enterprises senior official.

TRAINING CIRRICULUM OFFERED BY AMSTEEL INTERNATIONAL
The training offered by Somundy / Amsteel International is complex and complete and once completed will provide all the information needed to operate your new factory efficiently and effectively. This initial training is divided into the following modules

	Marketing and Selling Technique’s	8 hours
	Training on Machinery and Equipment	24 – 48  hours

 

These modules compose over 90 hours of intensive theoretical and particle training and provide you with knowledge of all the fundamental aspects of the business.
Somundy Enterprises and Amsteel International organize various general training sessions throughout the year for its representatives and for its various engineers. Out of a sense of convenience, we attempt to schedule these sessions are when they can be of service to both new and existing representatives and are not generally carried out to only provide training to a single group. Any new reps will be invited and scheduled to attend the next available training session.

The training of the factory foreman or supervisor is done separately and general on a more individual basis.  Normally it will consist of at least one two-day session of intense theoretical training on the specifics of the “LSF” construction system. Once the theoretical training is completed some practical training is organized, we make arrangements for your new foreman to spend a few days on an actual ongoing project. If this practical training is not possible, for geographical or any other reasons, then what generally happens is that we will provide the training during the manufacturing of your first project. However the expenses of feeding and lodging of our trainer will be your responsibility.

As a new factory representative you and your employees are welcomed to attend any training sessions scheduled by Somundy Enterprises. With the exception being if we feel that the session cannot effectively accommodate any further participants.

 

OTHER SERVICES
Somundy is able to offer a variety of additional services to our representatives; some of which would be considered a billable expense. An example of this would the calculations stability and thermal and acoustic insulation. As mentioned this is a possible expense, depending on your company framework, you might have the ability to produce these calculations in-house.  However; if for whatever reason you do not have such ability or in the process of establishing the required framework, Somundy is available to assist you every step of the way.   

The printing of business cards and all stationery, job site signage, pamphlets and other forms of printed publicity must conform and meet the approval of Somundy Enterprises. However the actual printing of this material can be completed by whoever the representative chooses.

MATERIALS
Another fundamental but optional service provided by Somundy Enterprises is the ability to obtain better prices for certain materials and equipment as well as the approval of the respective suppliers. Even though through Somundy’s various contacts throughout the world, we can generally guarantee the best quality and the factory operators are not obligated to purchase any material through them. We in fact encourage you develop and create their own contacts in the industry, and provide any new information to us in order to better service the entire network.

The only regulation that is imposed on the factory operators is that if they do purchase material outside the network provided by Somundy, that the material purchased meet the specifications set. This regulation guarantees the same excellent quality that people around the world have come to expect from a Somundy Project.

Somundy is associated with many diverse national and international associations related with “LSF” and subscribes to various publications specialized in the construction field, as well as keeping up to date on the latest legislation and normative methods of many countries throughout the world and maintains regular contact with a number of official entities and suppliers. All this important information will be available to you.
